This is a playful addition of two rooms and a bathroom to a solid country house originally built in the 1950s. Our client applied an unusual individualistic colour scheme to the additions when they were finished.
This proposal is for a house sited in a grove of red gums on a large pastoral site with fine views to the east, north and south. The design is informed by the idea of moonlight on the hills, illuminating the white tree trunks.
This is a major addition to an existing house in a verdant Adelaide Hillsvalley, subject to heritage control.
